Club Singles & Pairs Sheets are on the Board

Participation sheets for the 2022 Club Singles and Club Pairs are up on the notice board. Names to be up by March 31st.

There’s still some games to be played in last years Minor singles and Club fours competitions. While there has been some disruptions with COVID etc, they are dragging on too long and need to be played. Pull finger people and let’s get them done by the end of February if possible.

Our No1 green, also known as the Ken Lavis Green, is currently out of play for maintenance. No date yet when it will be back, it’s looking a lovely shade of green, we’ll keep you posted.

Looks like we will only be fielding one team in this years Pennants, which will kick off September 10th, due to lack of numbers. The participation sheet will go on the board shortly and we’ll need 30 names to have 2 teams.

There’s been good numbers for Tuesday’s social bowls but Saturdays have been very light with only 2, or sometimes only the one game happening. A good chance to bring along someone you know who might like to try Bowls. We could certainly do with the new blood!!!

And finally, anyone notice any bowlers that are smelling nicer than usual lately??.
